  • Seni Kome, which directly translates to “Our Art” in the Pahang local dialect, is dedicated to promoting the beauty of East Coast Malaysia’s craft, fashion, games, food and music. From authentic artifacts and paintings to an indigenous exhibition, SeniKome Péng Hēng tastefully depicts the distinctive charm of Péng Hēng, a traditional reference to the East Coast region.

    This arts and cultural centre also houses an experiential area for various traditional games. Guided experience tours are held three times daily.

  • Where is SeniKome Péng Hēng located?

    Level 4 in First World Plaza, right across Food Factory.

    What does SeniKome Péng Hēng mean?

    Seni Kome is a translation of “Our Art” in the Pahang local dialect. Péng Hēng was used to refer to the East Coast regions of the Malay Peninsula back in the Ming Dynasty in the 1520’s.

    What are the east coast states of Malaysia?

    Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang.

    Are there interactive activities in the gallery?

    Yes, the gallery includes experimental areas which allow you to have a go at a variety of traditional games.

    How large is the gallery?

    SeniKome Péng Hēng consists of 15,000 sq ft of interactive displays that will keep you entertained as you walk through the gallery.

    Are we allowed to touch the displays?

    Unfortunately, our hands contain harmful oils and bacteria that can damage the delicate displays. Let’s work together to preserve the displays to the best of our ability so that other customers can enjoy them too – just like you!

    Is the gallery child-friendly?

    Yes, children will have a fun time learning about the culture and playing with the traditional games.
